Become a Precinct Captain or Precinct Representative and help organize Clark County one neighborhood at a time.
A Precinct Captain represents the Democrats in their precincts and leads grassroots organizing in their neighborhoods. A Precinct Representative assists the Precinct Captain in these efforts.
Simpy put; you are the person in your neighborhood, helping to get the word out about elections. Whether you can knock on doors, make phone calls, perform data entry, host a house party, organize a community barbecue, or administer a neighborhood social media group or page, it all helps.
Precinct Captains and Precinct Representatives are also automatically members of the Clark County Central Committee (CCCC). The CCCC meets once a calendar quarter. As a Central Committee Member, you should attend this meeting and are required to attend at least two per year, to vote on Party business. Central Committee Members are also eligible to serve on Standing, Special, and Ad-Hoc Committees as well as run for elected positions on the Executive Board.
Most importantly, Precinct Captains and Representatives help get Democrats elected at all levels of government.
We are gearing up for the 2018 election and we need your help to keep Clark County and Nevada blue, one neighborhood at a time. We have the opportunity to takeover Congress, elect a Democratic Governor, maintain our majority in the State Legislature, and elect great local Democratic leaders. None of that happens without your help.
